Navy Island

Navy Island Beach is a great place to visit if you’re looking for something a little more secluded. The major attractions on Navy Island are its clear waters, white sand beach, and opportunities to participate in water sport activities. There are African-style cottages on the island where visitors can stay, as well as some very good casual restaurants, include the Admiralty, which provide traditional Jamaican dishes. Navy Island can only be reached by boat, but at certain times of the year, it may attract a sizable crowd. Located just 0.8 miles from the Lighthouse in Port Antonio on Jamaica’s eastern coast, it is close to Berridale, which provides the chance for town explorations in addition to beach activity.

There are several attractive options for accommodations near Navy Island, include the Jamaica Palace Hotel (2.5 miles, 80 rooms), Goblin Hill Villas at San San (3.5 miles, 28 rooms), Strawberry Hill (19.3 miles, 14 rooms), Christar Villas (24.0 miles, 42 rooms),

Hilton Kingston (25.4 miles, 300 rooms), Jamaica Pegasus (25.6 miles, 310 rooms), and the Courtleigh Hotel and Suites (25.6 miles, 132 rooms).
