Over the past two year’s Sons of Rabalac, a US based not-for-profit organization, has been dedicated to rebuilding Calabar HS (Kingston, Jamaica) and supporting the improvement of the students and excellence as sportsmen. Through local charitable events such as their annual “Green & Black Celebration,” in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and their annual Soccer & Dominoes Tournament in Miramar, FL, Sons of Rabalac has been able to provide well needed aid and assistance to Calabar H.S.

Son of Rabalac has donated over $2.3 Million JMD to the Calabar HS Football Program, and $174k JMD per year in academic scholarships. Outside of the Soccer Program, the organization has also donated funds for reconstruction of the sidewalks, the roadways, as well as, assisting with general building repairs. “We believe that every student that walks through the gate of Calabar H.S. has the potential to be great, and Sons of Rabalac will make every effort to help cultivate that greatness,” said David Green, Executive Director of Sons of Rabalac.

The organization’s latest effort will feature entertainers representing various schools on the island such as Georges College, Ochi Rios HS, JC and more, coming together in South Florida as a show of support for one common goal. The highly anticipated 3rd Annual Green & Black Celebration will feature sounds from Stone Love Music, Renaissance Disco, Supa Sound, Firm Music, and recently added Fire Redz. It all takes place at KARU Ft. Lauderdale located at 1000 State RD 84 Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Saturday June 20, 2015.
