Comedy Show Brings Top Jamaican Comedians to South Florida

Written by Staff Writer

Top Jamaican Comedian and actor, Chris “Johnny” Daley will lead a hilarious group of comedians in the first staging of “Comedy Chaos” set for April 18 at the Holy Family Church Auditorium in Miami Gardens and April 19, at Coral Springs High School.

The side-splitting show will feature Daley, who first came to prominence playing the role of little “Johnny” on the popular Jamaican television series “Lime Tree Lane”. He has literally grown up in the public’s eye, honing his craft as an actor playing several roles on stage, in movies and on television. As a standup comic he has developed a very humorous routine and is recognized as one of Jamaica’s best.

Comedy Chaos will also feature the irreverent Jamaican comedian Pretty Bwoy Floyd, the duo of Sammy Question and Spicy Vicey as well as the Hilarious Granny. Comedy Chaos promises a night of non-stop laughter and will leave the audience begging for more as the comedians will tackle topics ranging from current affairs to a humorous look at everyday Caribbean life.

Comedy Chaos is a presentation of Riddims Marketing in association with Fun & Laughter Productions. “Our aim is to provide affordable quality entertainment for the public, as well as create an outlet for the talented comedians in Jamaica,” stated Eddy Edwards, CEO of Riddims Marketing. “The show will be another option for patrons seeking wholesome fun entertainment with an opportunity to discover the under-utilized talent based here in South Florida,” Edwards added.

The event is sponsored by JN Money Services, National Weekly Newspapers and the Amazing Soursop Drink. Tickets are available at selected Caribbean outlets in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, call 954-251-1643 for details.
