Conscious Reggae Singer ORieL Heads to New York, Gears up for 4/20 Release

Gaining recognition and success with the hit video “Sticks & Stones”, his acclaimed “Rise of the Revoluters” mixtape and the successful lead single “Cruise” from his highly anticipated “Love SoulJah” EP, prolific Reggae singer ORieL is gearing up for the 4/20 release of the follow up single “Get Me High”, culminating with slated appearances in New York to promote the release.

Written by the artist himself and co-produced by his Afar Music Group label mate Lloyd ”Cookie” Willacy, “Get Me High” displays the cognizant side of the conscious reggae star by gearing his powerful musical words to women from all walks of life.  “Get Me High” demonstrates a lustful, groovy sound that might surprise ORieL’s hardcore “Revoluters” fans, but his distinct smooth-smoky vocals will captivate the attention of reggae purists alike .”Get Me High” is about how being in love can be intoxicating and the natural high one gets from the euphoric feelings of love. The song is more like a fusion of reggae and early 90s RnB style singing on the chorus” Stated ORieL.

ORieL will make scheduled appearances in New York on May 9th and 10th, 2015 “Get Me High” will be available on iTunes 4/20, and all other major digital distributors.
