David Tulloch’s Romantic Comedy Play, Prayer Partner Coming this Thanksgiving Weekend. This Thanksgiving weekend South Florida theater goers will have the perfect opportunity to enjoy themselves or to treat their out of town guest as Sunshine Theater presents David Tulloch’s hilarious romantic play “Prayer Partner”.

David Tulloch has become one of Jamaica’s best up and coming playwright and has been recognized for his growing talent as a writer, director and producer. The shows here are as follows Saturday, Nov. 28th @ 8.00pm -Miramar High School Theater, 3601 S Douglas Rd. Miramar, Fl. Sunday, Nov. 29th @ 7.00pm – Coral Springs Center for the Arts, 2855 Coral Springs Dr. Coral Springs, Fl. Prayer Partner is written, produced, directed and acted in by David Tulloch and also stars the dynamic and award winning actress Deon Silvera, the exciting Michael ‘Stringbeans’ Nicholson, the outstanding and award winning Chris McFarlane,(3 time Actor Boy Award winner plus the lead in the movie Ghett’a Life) and the upcoming Allison McLean.

Prayer Partner is a humorous depiction of just how far one man will go to win his lady love. David Tulloch’s romantic comedy, Prayer Partner is not just good family entertainment, it also proves to be a worthwhile commentary on the power of prayer in the development and maintenance of meaningful relationships. It is an interesting mix of comedy, religion, and romance, that will leave you pleased with the outcome. In Prayer Partner, Danielle (Shana Wilson/Allison McLean) is pursued by two men Giovanni (Chris McFarlane) and Peter (David Tulloch). After finding out Giovanni, her fiancé is a low down cheater, she sinks into a deep depression leading her to seek help from an ad in the newspaper about a Prayer Partner program. Peter finds out her need for divine assistance and transforms himself into an akward looking woman as Peta Gaye with hopes of getting close to Danielle as her Prayer Partner. The play skyrockets into a circus of shenanigans when the real Prayer Partner, Sister Grace, the Prayer Warrior (Suzette Barrett/Deon Silvera) shows up. What follows is the must see theatrical production of the year. There will be a special performance before the play by the exciting Reggae Gospel singer Sista Sasha (who teamed with international recording star Sean Paul for the big # 1 hit “I’m Still In Love With You”) since her conversion her big hit “Jesus A Di Don” and her album “Breaking Free” are one of the fastest risers on the charts…

Tickets for this Thanksgiving Weekend event are $30.00 for general seating (balcony) , $35.00 for the reserved seats and $40.00 for the VIP seats (preferred seating) and are available from selected West Indian outlets and the Coral Springs Box Offices.
