Day 124 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Dives and Deals: Jerk Chicken at Three Dives Jerk Center

This restaurant is located among shade trees on the cliffs of Negril. Order your meal from the selections displayed on a chalkboard menu, then take a rum punch to a bench and wait for your food to be prepared. Reggae bands play at night as diners feast on spicy jerk chicken, brown chicken, or curry goat stew. The jerk chicken here has been marinated in jerk sauce for 24 hours and slow-cooked over a fire. It comes with a side of rice and peas and the leafy green callaloo. Don’t forget the “granny sauce” – a secret recipe from the owner’s grandmother – to round out the flavors.

In case you missed any of the past “365 Things to Do, See and Eat in Jamaica“, here they are all together.
