Day 249 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Glory Be to the Gizzada

Gizzada

This Jamaican take on the European pastry exposes you to the serious decadence of sweetness. You can find gizzadas at food stands, restaurants and bakeries. Basically a tart with a pastry shell that is filled with butter and fresh, sweetened coconut spiced with nutmeg and ginger, you won’t be able to resist its crunchy, gooey textures. Go ahead and indulge yourself!
