Day 260 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – “Heal Thyself“ at Doctor’s Cave Bathing Club

Doctor's Cave Bathing Club
Written by Staff Writer

Doctor’s Cave Bathing Club was established in the 1900s by a local doctor. It was a private club to take advantage of the curative properties of an area of the sea that is fed by a network of underground streams. The venue in Montego Bay has been popular with visitors ever since. Technically still a private club, you can buy a day’s membership that gives you access to use the beach and enjoy “what the doctor ordered.”

About 365 Things to Do, See and Eat in Jamaica
Jamaica has so many unique foods, places and events to offer. These things are often missed by visitors to Jamaica and even locals. Our goal is to have you try new things and see what Jamaica has to fully offer with something to do 365 days of the year. Please note that these are all our opinions and we are always open to suggestions.
