Day 264 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Live the Lushness at Strawberry Fields Together

This ecotourism spot in St. Mary Parish offers 18 acres of lush tropical gardens the function as a nature preserve and sanctuary. Strawberry Fields, founded in the 1970s and named for the Beatles song, is located within one of the last unspoiled regions on Jamaica’s northern coast. There are miles of coastal trails to hike, hidden waterfalls to discover, and empty beaches to enjoy. The area surrounding Strawberry Fields can be explored by hiking or horseback/ There is a boat available if you want to go snorkeling or fishing, and the trails end either at a black-sand beach cove or Kwamen Falls, which is perfect for swimming. The hosts prepare a picnic lunch of roast fish and hams, so there’s nothing left for you to do but live the tropical dream!
