Day 310 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Enjoy the Street Art on Fleet Street

A project of Paint Jamaica, several downtown Kingston spaces in marginalized neighborhoods have been transformed into spectacular murals created through partnerships between artists and local communities. The murals reflect the life and stories of the communities and displays images of peace, unity, and the inspiration to create positive changes through art. The Paint Jamaica project began in 2014 as a way to bring art to the streets of the capital city by decorating the walls of a huge abandoned warehouse at 41 Fleet Street in the inner city. It is an amazing visual illustration of community and inspiration and definitely worth a visit.
