Day 85 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Tune Up Your Soul at the Trenchtown Reading Center

While visiting Trenchtown to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the birthplace of reggae and rocksteady, and to walk the streets the legendary Bob Marley knew, stop by the Trenchtown Reading Center.  This nonprofit, community-based, child-centered cultural and education venue

was created to encourage participation in a wide variety of educational activities. The Center is always adding to its collections and programs, so there’s always something new to see. Both children and adults can access educational materials that would otherwise be unavailable to them. Do yourself some good, and take some time in your visit to volunteer with the people here. Open Tuesday to Friday 2:30-7:30 and Saturdays noon to 4.

About 365 Things to Do, See and Eat in Jamaica
Jamaica has so many unique foods, places and events to offer. These things are often missed by visitors to Jamaica and even locals. Our goal is to have you try new things and see what Jamaica has to fully offer with something to do 365 days of the year. Please note that these are all our opinions and we are always open to suggestions.
