Emerald Dunes Golf Club of Florida Wins Jamaica Invitational Pro-am “Annie’s Revenge” in Montego Bay

Emerald Dunes Golf Club of West Palm Beach, Florida were crowned champions at the tenth annual Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am “Annie’s Revenge”. Presented by Cobra Puma Golf, the three round event which uses the two best ball; one net, one gross format, culminated recently and was played on two of Jamaica’s finest golf courses Cinnamon Hill and White Witch in Montego Bay.

Emerald Dunes Golf Club, led by golf professional Lee Rinker with amateurs Michael Hammond Sr., Michael Hammond Jr., & Gregory Hammond captured the championship with a 54-hole cumulative score of 395.

Cobra Puma Team 1 with amateurs Jason Personnette, Josh Alexander, Stephen Scianna, and golf professional Will Miele were runners-up with a 54-hole cumulative score of 398. Third place honors went to the Country Club of New Canaan with amateurs Peter Tiberio, Richard Stark, Heather Rooks and golf professional Jason Peterson, whose 54-hole cumulative score was 401.

In the Consolation Bracket, Jamaica Tours Limited, comprising amateurs Michael Putnam, Alan Waxler, Tom Oliver and golf professional Jim Delaney took home top honors with a 54-hole cumulative score of 414, while Cold Spring Country Club 1 and the team of Glenn Olsen, Adam Smith, Keith May and golf professional Jim Weiss finished in a second place tie with Laconia Country Club 1 and the team of Jerry Milligan, Michael Milligan, Thomas Milligan and golf pro Dan Wilkins with a 54-hole cumulative score of 415.

Described as the best Pro-Am in the region, this year’s staging of the Jamaica Invitational Pro-Am, the Jamaica Tourist Board partnered with Cobra Puma Golf which signed on as Presenting Sponsor of the tournament.  Other sponsors include Delta Air Lines, the official tournament carrier, Hyatt Ziva/Zilara, which served as host resort, Island Routes, official transportation provider and Appleton Jamaica.
