January is the perfect time to head to Jamaica and savor its beautiful weather and fine beaches, but first, it’s time to celebrate New Year’s Day the Jamaican way! For visitors ready to party, two of the best January 1 celebrations are the Sunrise Breakfast Party on New Year’s Morning

Starting at 4:30 AM is this early morning celebration sponsored by Sunnation Jamaica, It features music, a chance to make new friends, enjoy wonderful food, and just plain have fun in the Jamaican sun. The Breakfast Party is held at the Oriental Gardens, Mona, Kingston 7, in Saint Andrew Parish. There is an admission charge. Later on January 1, partiers should check out what has been labeled the “ultimate New Year’s Experience” in Jamaica, Resolutions. Held at Coco Palm South in St. Elizabeth on Jamaica’s south coast. The celebration begins at 9 PM featuring music by A Team, All-Stars, DJ Nova, and Target System. Contact 876-486-8566 or 876-282-2321 for admissions and information.

For beach-loving visitors, Jamaica’s top beaches can be freely enjoyed every day of the month. Any trip to Jamaica must include at least a day at each of these spectacular island locations to take advantage of all they have to offer.

In case you missed any of the past “365 Things to Do, See and Eat in Jamaica“, here they are all together.
