Florida’s Secretary of Commerce, Bill Johnson, and Miami’s Mayor, Tomas Regalado will address the breakfast gathering on October 9th.  Earl Jarrett, General Manager of Jamaica National Building Society, will give the keynote address, featuring success strategies for growing and doing business with Jamaica at the Recognition Power Lunch on October 9th.

The Expo is being staged in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s 33rd Annual MEDWeek Business Matchmaker Conference and is expected to attract hundreds of local, national and international businesses and trade organizations seeking growth opportunities.  Special features include a Global Trade Forum, Recognition Power Lunch, various financing programs including a “Shark Tank” Investment Forum, and Business to Business Matchmaker Meetings which will offer promotional, networking and increased sales opportunities for participating businesses.

“Jamaica has a strong history of producing world class quality products and JAUSACC is delighted to partner with JAMPRO and the U.S. Department of Commerce to showcase Brand Jamaica,” stated Marie Gill, President of JAUSACC. “Registration is going very well, with enquiries and interests from major corporations, government agencies, small businesses, and buyers interested in trading with Jamaica.  We anticipate a very successful conference.”

The Expo will provide a wealth of business resources for financing, contract opportunities with government and corporations; franchising; exporting, and identification of trade and investment opportunities with Jamaica. Other countries to be showcased as potential trading partners are Panama, Mexico, Brazil and Cuba.
Interested corporations, small businesses and individuals looking for products and services of a high standard, looking to engage in international trade, joint ventures, or to meet one-on-one with expo exhibitors to discuss potential partnerships, and negotiate for business opportunities that best suit their needs, can achieve all of this in one location, at the Jamaican Business Expo…this is an opportunity that should not be missed.
