Virtuoso, a luxury travel network and consortia, released its Top 10 list of destinations for tourists to visit in the summer of 2016, and Jamaica made the list of the “Hot 10.” Virtuoso’s lists are based on information from the group’s travel agency members that are based in the United States and Canada and reflect future travel for the summer months of 2016. The Hot 10 list represents international travel only. The countries on this list have experienced the greatest percentage of growth in year-over-year bookings. Jamaica ranks in seventh place with a bookings growth rate of 28 percent. Tanzania is at the top of the Hot 10 list with a growth rate of 98 percent.
