They stand
A proud people
Of a blessed land
Out of many they are one
Nation, tribe and tongue
Unique… pioneers
They forge where none has gone before
Blazing a trail for many to follow
Early they learn they are those who
Must play their part
In advancing the welfare
Of the whole human race
A strong call
To a people
Who will not be limited
By who society say they are
They are a people who continually
Burst out of the box of the ordinary
For they are thosed who cry out
“GIVE US VISON!! LEST WE PERISH
Visionaries
Seeing beyond that which is done
Breaking new ground for that which is to come
Among humanity’s best
Some dare to say the worst
But they will not give heed to that curse
After all they are Jamaican
An extra-ordinarily different people
Little in number
But mighty in influence
Is the JAMAICAN!
