JAMPACT 2015 Annual School Supply Drive Extended Until August 3rd

New York, NY – Jamaica Impact Inc. (JAMPACT) has been supporting Early Childhood Institutions and other schools in underserved low-income areas on the island of Jamaica for the past 17 years.  Over the years the organization has partnered with other non-profits and companies such as Golden Krust to provide well needed supplies, computers, classroom equipment as well as scholarships.  “We are grateful to all our partners and supporters that have assisted us each year” says vice president Gloria Messam.  “This year JAMPACT is pleased to partner with Kits for Kidz to purchase Head Start Kit and other necessary school supplies at a reduced price. JAMPACT solicits the help of the community in purchasing school supply kits and giving a child a “head start”!  The drive which started in June will continue online until August 3rd.

Packing of the donated items for shipping will be on August 22nd 9am to 2pm at Trans-Continental Express Shippers, 118-40 Montauk Street, St. Albans NY 11412. Volunteers are welcome and additional new books or supplies can also be donated at that time.
