JOB TITLE: Electromechanical Engineer – SOG/ST4 (Regional Office)

LOCATION:  Southern Regional Health Authority, Mandeville

DESCRIPTION: Participating in the formation of Maintenance Policies and plans for the Regional Health Authorities;   Providing specialist assistance to the Region on Technical Electromechanical equipment and /or solicit assistance locally or overseas; Developing standards and procedures for maintenance of Electromechanical equipment in the Southern Regional Health Authority to ensure patient safety, reliability and cost effectiveness.

QUALIFICATIONS: BSC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; Minimum of three (3) years experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in a (major Hospital); Any equivalent combination of qualification and experience; Computer literate; Ability to apply Electromechanical Training to other areas when required; Ability to communicate efficiently in written and oral format at all level; Well developed training skills; Ability to provide effective leadership.
