JOB TITLE: Occupational Health Nurse

LOCATION:  Federated Pharmaceutical 2014 Limited, Kingston

DESCRIPTION: Perform a variety of professional duties involved in developing and providing Occupational Health Nursing services, while ensuring that the company’s policies and procedures are maintained by coordinating the revision, review and approval of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) in support of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and ISO Standards; Responsibility for document control function, which includes document logging, tracking, processing, distributing and archiving, training in the use of SOPs and participation in internal and supporting external audits; Compliance must be ensured with applicable local and international regulatory standards

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree/General Certificate in Nursing, and registered in Jamaica; At least Three (3) years’ experience in a similar capacity; At least 3 years’ experience in Occupational Health/ Supervisory role in nursing; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified (International Trauma Life Support (ITLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification would be an asset); Valid Food Handler’s Permit; Training in Occupational Nursing; Ability to handle highly confidential health information; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); Strong analytical skills; Ability to solve problems and exercise good judgment; Ability to plan, write and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); Proficiency in the use of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio; Ability to work on own initiative and is detailed oriented; Ability to work effectively under pressure; Experience in the use of Electronic Document Management System
