QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Education (A Masters Degree in Education would be an asset); Trained Teacher Certification; minimum of five (5) years experience and a proven track record of Senior Leadership in a Secondary School; Sound knowledge of the Education Act (as amended) and Education Regulations; Knowledge of FAA Act and Government Procedures and Policies, including Procurement and Guidelines; Be a combination of academic, professional, entrepreneurial and personal experiences to match the school’s Vision and Mission; Have strong knowledge of and competencies in Curriculum Development and Assessment Methods; Have excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills; Be a strong disciplinarian; Be computer literate; Have excellent Time Management and Problem Solving Skills; Have sound knowledge of Financial Management; Have excellent Analytical Skills; Exhibit the highest standards of professional ethics, values and integrity; Have proven experience in Leadership, Human Resource Development and Management; Knowledge of relevant Labor Laws, Employment Policies and Procedures; NCEL Leadership training or presently involved in the program; Have strong knowledge of the Transformation in Education Program
