LASCO Financial Services recognizes the hard work and dedication of the nations’ educators and showed appreciation to those teachers from neighbouring schools on Monday, May 4. Students at Merl Grove High School erupted in shouts of excitement as two of their teachers were randomly selected for the treat in an on-the-spot draw at the school by a LASCO Financial representative. It was a similar atmosphere at Dunrobin Primary and Collins Close Basic Schools as their teachers were also among more than ten teachers who received gift baskets and other goodies courtesy of the money services entity. The excited shouts from students spoke volumes about how much they value teachers and reflects their endorsement of the move by LASCO Financial.

Mr Beresford Sweeney from Merl Grove High, a teacher for more than twenty-three years, was thankful for the recognition. “I am very thankful to LASCO (Financial Services) for showing their appreciation for us today in this very special way. I will surely enjoy the package with my family,” he said. He attributes mutual respect and understanding between teachers and students at the institution to the excellent relationship they enjoy, evident in the students response when the presentations were made.

LASCO Financial Services enjoys a deep and longstanding relation with the schools in the Red Hills Road area and continues to support education.
