Leroy Smart honed his interest in music under the tutelage of Lennie Hibbert at the legendary Alpha School. His vocal sound gave the impression that he might have gargled with gravel. His work with producer Striker Lee was outstanding as was his Roots output through ‘Channel One’. It was Junjo Lawes technique that gave Leroy Smart a foot in the Dancehall doors and Bobby Digital added to Smart’s reputation.
