Miss Dream 2016 Chaquanzha Stephenson visited Jamaica recently as part of her all-expense paid prize trip, following her coronation last summer at the Royal Regency Hotel in Yonkers, New York. During her weeklong visit, Stephenson who was making her third trip to the island, met with Dream Castle Foundation scholarship recipients from the Iris Gelly Primary and St. Richards Primary in Kingston as well as Flanker Primary and Junior High in Montego Bay.
While in Jamaica, Stephenson was a guest on Mellow FM and Mellow TV where she was interviewed by Barry G. During her visit, she toured the Gleaner Company in Kingston and visited a number of Jamaica’s iconic attractions including Rose Hall Great House and Dunn’s River Falls.
Stephenson is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a dual degree in Political Science and Justice Studies, and is working on building her non-profit, Don’t Oppress People, Educate! (DOPE) Inc. with the hope of empowering future generations.
