More Time Given to enter JCDC Competitions – Deadline extended to Friday, January 16, 2016

Persons interested in participating in the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission’s (JCDC) 2016 Competitions  have been given additional time to submit their entry forms. The new deadline is Friday, January 15, 2016, says Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the JCDC, Stephen Davidson.

“Groups and individuals interested in participating in the upcoming Performing Arts Competition (Music, Speech, Drama, Dance and Traditional Folk Forms), Jamaica Festival Song, Jamaica Gospel Song and Jamaica Children’s Gospel Song Competitions have additional time  to hand in their entry forms to make the 2016 competitions” said Davidson. Additionally, on-spot entries will be accepted during the Audition Phase of the Performing Arts and Jamaica Gospel Song Competitions.

Persons who wish to enter any of the JCDC Competitions can access entry forms, rules and competition guidelines from the JCDC website, www.jcdc.gov.jm, its Head Office at 3-5 Phoenix Avenue, Kingston 10 or any Parish Offices across the island. In addition to the invaluable experience and talent development that these competitions offer, all competitors have the opportunity to win cash prizes and awards.

Entry forms for all JCDC Song Competitions should be submitted to the JCDC Head Office at 3-5 Phoenix Avenue, Kingston 10, or any of the parish offices island-wide.
