My Father-In-Law Affair Is Having An Affair, Should I Tell My Husband

A: My Jamaican father-in-law allowed me to use his computer while at his home. We live in New York. I accidentally stumbled on an email exchange between him and an old high school sweetheart who lives in Jamaica. I was so shocked I printed a few of the emails. He is having an affair. I have lost all respect for him. Should I give the emails to my husband and mother-in-law?

Q: Tell your husband and let him talk to your father-in-law. You don’t want to be the bearer of this news or be the one to accuse your father-in-law of sneaking around. Kudos on gathering evidence as this is important when the denial from either your husband and/or father-in-law starts.
