The reign of King Yellowman continues. The original King of the Dance Hall held court at BB Kings Blues Club in heart of New York City. Backed by the locked and loaded precision of the Sagittarius Band the King literally hit the stage running and never stopped. He electrified and captivated his audience with an energetic performance (no easy feat at 60 years old).
In true Kingly fashion Yellowman commanded the packed house as they sang along to his long list of hits. Yellowman’s performance with his daughter, K’reema, shows the King passing on the scepter to a talented and worthy successor. Beyond the brilliance of his art and a career that spans decades, Yellowman’s courage and continued triumph over his struggles is inspirational. Long live the King!
