Sandals Resort Constructing More Overwater Bungalows

Sandals over the water bungalows
Written by StephanieK

Sandals in Montego Bay has yet to open its new overwater bungalow accommodations, but has announced its plans to build even more of them. Sandals Royal Caribbean resort will construct 12 more Caribbean Overwater Bungalows. The new rooms – categorized as Over-the-Water Private Island Butler Honeymoon Bungalows – are now available for sale for arrivals starting on February 1, 2017. The first will make their debut in November 2016. All will feature glass floor panels and lit water so guests can see underwater views at any time. There will be private outdoor “Tranquility Soaking Tubs” and over-water hammocks. All of the bungalows have hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings, and custom-made king-sized beds. Inside of each bungalow is a smart TV, large ceiling fan, and bathrooms featuring his-and-her sinks and a walk-in rain shower. The bathrooms also include a back-lit mirror decorated with mosaic tile. Private patios at the bungalows offer an extended sun deck, outdoor shower, sun lounger and a bistro set for two.
