Shortwood Past Students Association Reunion and Recognition Gala, October 15-17, 2015, Florida

Shortwood Past Students Association holds their Reunion and Awards Gala in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, October 15-17, 2015. The theme “A Reunion of All Era”, signals the participation of alumni from all graduating years.

Festivities include a “Meet & Greet” evening, a twilight Dinner Cruise, and culminate with the Awards Gala at the Westin Fort Lauderdale on Saturday, Oct 17th. Consul General of Jamaica to Florida, Franz Hall, will be the Guest Speaker. Awards recognition will be presented to two alumni with stellar accomplishments in the fields of Medicine and Law.

The Gala will also highlight and document the achievements and accomplishments of the school which started 128 years ago in a barn owned by Sir Henry Morgan, and now has an enrollment of over 1,110 students.

The school continues to thrive and contribute to the enrichments of the lives of its students. Recognized as a leader in post primary education, Shortwood consistently turns out exceptional students. Alumni and friends will take this opportunity to rekindle friendships while learning about the School’s accomplishments and advancement.

Proceeds from the activities will benefit the purchase of a PA system for the school.
