Travelers Rank 3 Jamaican Hotels in Caribbean’s Top 25

Users of the TripAdvisor website have given three hotels in Jamaica high ratings by ranking them among the Top 25 hotels in the Caribbean.

Ranked Number 7 is the Jamaica Inn in Ocho Rios. This hotel is a great example of the warm and familiar timelessness of a true island resort. The well-tended and manicured grounds are a delight, as are the antiques that furnish the guest bedrooms. The hotel’s veranda offers magnificent views of the Caribbean. The Jamaica Inn has been ranked among the best luxury hotels in the region since 1950. Its private beaches, intimate accommodations, and romantic ambiance continue to provide visitors with a taste of paradise.

The Rockhouse Hotel in Negril was ranked 17th by TripAdvisor. The boutique hotel is located on cliffs that overlook the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. This hotel has twice been named the “Leading Boutique Hotel” in the region at the prestigious World Travel Awards. Situated on eight acres of exotic tropical gardens, the property offers world-class dining and spa and wellness programs that draw from the rich resources of Jamaica. It has long been the destination of choice for those “in the know” as it offers an understated tropical elegance that is unmatched anywhere.

The Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios is ranked Number 25. Its private, intimate, all-butler resort has 74 ocean-view suites situated on a spectacular coral bluff. Guests can relax around the pool with drinks delivered by a beach butler, or they can enjoy the neighboring Sandals Golf and Country Club for a round of golf. This historic resort offers a combination of retro-chic – peacocks roam the lawns – and a modern attention to detail. A favorite with celebrities like Noel Coward and Ian Fleming, it reflects a casual elegance and a true Jamaican vibe. New innovations like the only champagne-and-caviar bar on the island are definitely impressive.
