Fashion: Weekend Casual

Strawberry Hill. The name of this luxury resort and spa nestled deep in the hills of St. Andrew, Jamaica intrigues you just enough to make you want to Google it. The panoramic views of the famous Blue Mountains and the Kingston city lights far below are breathtaking. After a short hike up a winding path through some of the lushest greenery I’ve ever seen, we arrived at our cottage sanctuary perched high atop the hillside. I’m already in love with this magical place.

I awoke each morning to the sunlight breaking through the plantation shutters and the sound of humming doctor birds and loud chirping emanating from the dense vegetation just outside our window. As I poured another cup of Blue Mountain coffee from a cute little French Press, I thought to myself….this had to be the most relaxing way to start any day – no matter who you are.
I own this curve-hugging bustier because its enough motivation for me to keep up with my daily six-minute pilates YouTube videos 🙂 I also wanted to wear something light and cool for our first morning stroll around the property, so I slipped into these super comfy drawstring pants with some awesome deep pockets. I added some flare with my Nine West heels (which you guys may have seen before in my Overall Happiness post). I can’t get enough of the bling on the front of these sandals!

As you’ll have noticed by now, I’m a curly girl naturally. I straightened my hair the night before, but the humidity got to it while I was sipping on that nice fresh brewed coffee I was mentioning earlier (LOL), and this definitely had a say in my hairstyle today. But hey, ya gotta work with what you got, right?! 😉
