"White Jamaicans"

Blonde hair and blue eyes doesn’t mean we don’t understand Rastafari,

Out of many one people we hail!

Don’t look confused ’cause we’re pale,

Our roots are planted firmly like our other brethren,

So, our coloring is a little different but we speak just like them,

We may speak brogue, french and chinese,

But patois tops the list of our heritage,

We know plenty about Jamaica and its wonderful anecdotes,

We even know how to cuss and tell hilarious jokes,

Don’t let our appearance fool you,

We are not just transplants,

Jamaica is our home!

We know all the favourite haunts,

The Jamaican experience is forever entwined in our hearts,

We love Jamaica!

Our island love can never be torn apart.
