Jamaican-born attorney Marlon Hill, who is based in Miami, Florida, received the Bill Colson Award at a ceremony to recognize Miami leaders. The Bill Colson Award is given in acknowledgment of consistent leadership in fostering community understanding and improving the quality of life for a broad section of the entire community. The award has been given for 11 years. Hill was presented with the award at the Annual Salute to Miami Leaders Luncheon for the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. The award is named in honor of Bill Colson, a well-known trial attorney in Miami and the founder of the Leadership Miami® program in 1979. He remained a major supporter of the program throughout his life.
