Chronixx Is New Face of Adidas 2017 Spring Summer Collection

Adidas, one of the biggest international sports apparel firms in the world, has selected Jamaican Rastafarian and reggae star Chronixx to represent its new Spring Summer 2017 fashion collection. Chronixx, 24, is now the face of Adidas SPEZIAL, a line inspired by the company’s sportswear heritage and its influence on global culture. According to Adidas, the SPEZIAL collection is reinventing menswear with iconic military jackets, tracksuits, knit polo shirts, and three-stripe trainers and leisure footwear. Adidas SPEZIAL SS 17‘s limited edition is scheduled for sale on March 17, 2017, while the entire collection will be available on March 24, 2017 at select retailers around the world and online at Adidas.com/Originals. On a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon in the United States, Chronixx performed “Majesty” and “Likes” and launched the North American portion of his headlining tour.

Jamar McNaughton, born 10 October 1992, popularly known as Chronixx, is a Jamaican reggae artist. His stage name replaced the name “Little Chronicle” which he was given because of his father, the singer “Chronicle”.

Chronixx and his music has been branded as a “Reggae Revival”, alongside other reggae musicians including Dre Island, Jah Bouks, Jah9, Protoje, Kelissa, Jesse Royal, Keznamdi and Kabaka Pyramid, his lyrical content revolves around themes of anti-war, romantic declarations and resiliency.
