Day 68 of 365 Things to Do, See & Eat in Jamaica – Get Bullish about Bull Bay’s Bobo Camp

One of Jamaica’s oldest Rastafarian groups is known as the “Bobos” or “Bobo Dread,” and they live near Kingston in Bull Bay. The community, who members wear turbans and robes, is located on a hilltop named Mount Zion. While it follows strict laws that reflect its particular take on Rastafarianism, the message is spreading out from Jamaica to countries in Africa and the Caribbean.
