    I don't recall ham as an Easter Dinner tradition in Jamaica?

    my memory foggy too but i seem to recall if you having easter lunch similar to a christmas ting wid hame and ting.

    good friday was fish

        No ham for Easter just bun and cheese and fish

          I remember escovietch fish on Good Friday cook from the evening before. But Easter Sunday was typical Sunday dinner with chicken, rice and peas, maybe roast beef, salad, steam vegetables, and bun n cheese, of course. But I only remember ham at Christmas, not Easter

            ....Namely Rice and Peas (in this case, two kinds), Fried Plantains, and Macaroni and Cheese. My son-in-law’s smoked ham is a must-have at Easter.......
