Hope these are hot enough...

The nicer 'dress boots' are not lined for winter use!

They have a lot of real nice leather boots... but they are not functional for Canadian winters (unless you are an idiot wearing stiletto heels in 6 inches of snow)

Really not a lot of choice...

((Nunya)) For some of us with 'wider calves' there is not a lot of choice. The width is great -and sort of squared off so there is a good amount of space for comfort... AND best of all - it's a tall boot - so it goes wayyyy up to keep the legs warm!

I like the boots this year..seems to be lots with enough warmth and practical heels, but stylish too.

I bought these boots this year. They are very comfy and warm.

Where did you find these??? I went looking for some boots today and came home empty handed... Most had that fur like bizniz on... and the soles were too smooth...

I'd like something that looks half decent, preferably calf high and hopefully lace free...

It must, however, have a 'grip' sole... cause mi cyaa walk pan ice...
