      The constant brawling on how the administration as failed Air J. So let us “Tek kin teet kibba heart bun”. I will miss the hypocrisy of those Jamaican aboard who flies with the competition instead of their own.

        Will miss flying in something that is consider my own. Just imagine going to the Travel Agent and not hearing do you want to fly with Air Am or Air J. No more patriotism to show. Heart burning for real.

              A predecessor to Air Jamaica, the Jamaica Air Service Ltd. used this B707 operated by
              BOAC (British Overseas Airways Corp) seen here at the newly renamed New York John F. Kennedy
              Airport (formerly knows as New York Idlewild Airport)
              (1966)


              Since BeeWee (BWIA British West Indies Airlines) had a 16% stake in the Jamaica Air Service Ltd.,
              it operated this B727 on bahalf of the company parked here at New York JFK.
              History repeats itself to rhatid, as CAL is another reincarnation of BeeWee!
              (1968)


              When the operating agreement with BOAC and BWIA expired in 1969, the modern Air
              Jamaica was formed, operating it's own fleet. It's DC-8 getting serviced at Miami.
              (1974)

              AirJ DC-8 landing at Miami. The steep pitch angle was normal on the DC-8-51 as it did not have leading edge slats.

                when this picture was taken.


                AirJ DC-8 at New York JFK in this unusual paint job as the aircraft was coming back
                from a least to Air Peru. Guess no time to repaint!
