                    the Bay of Fundy Has some of the highest tidal swings in the world. the reversing falls are the point where the St John river flows into the bay. at high tide the flow of the river is forced backward. Its not really a water fall it more like rapids

                              OK, thanks for the clarification. I really hoped I was missing something, was looking forward to seeing a waterfall literally go in reverse.
