It's way too late to suddenly turn on her now.
She was just as dumb when she first came on the scene and more than likely still retains the support of that same 29% of the public who supported George Bush at the very end of his terms in office when he had sunk to his lowest point in the polls.

And this is what I keep saying ... The American electorate is wan di moas gullible, illiterate set a dunce mi eva buck up pan. WeNdY,

I'll go right along with what you say and believe here..
THe American electorate is largely either uninformed, misinformed or deliberately disiformed (disinformed meaning that we, as a people , have been deliberately lied to and misled so that the nonsense that is the U.S government can continue.)

I know I'll run into some static on this but the earlier popularity and the election of Barack Obama from people expecting change DESPITE what he wrote, said and did in his earlier political career also points out that the country is sadly deficient in sense.

And those were people who IMO are better thinkers.

When you get down to the intellectual level of the mouth breathers who actually think Sarah Palin is someone up to the job of vice president, the understanding of reality is really off the charts.

I haven't seen the latest poll figures but at last glance I believe that about 20% of Americans thought that Obama was a Muslim. He is also considered to be a socialist by a goodly percentage of the public but this is in large part due to the rhetoric and hyperbole of the right wing talk show hosts. Crazy as that sort of thinking is (Obama is somewhere between a liberal and a moderate Republican at best) it resonates with that same group and then some who believe him to be a Muslim (and Kenyan).

In conclusion, IMO Sarah Palin is popular with more than just crazies and radical right wingers. She is truly representative of the thinking of 20% of the country at minimum.

It's probably worse since the Republican Party had to know who and what she was and they nominated her thinking her up to the job.
But now that I think about it, they did nominate and we did elect Ronald Reagan and Bush the Lesser twice each and they and we (as a people) were as dumb as sticks.

    It doesn't look good.
    Question authority.
