Miss Dream Castle 2017 will be crowned on Saturday, June 10 in a glitzy affair at the Royal Regency Hotel in Yonkers, New York. A diverse group of talented, attractive and intelligent women drawn from across the tri-state will vie for the coveted title. The new queen will take over from Connecticut native Chaquanzha Stephenson who will be special guest at the coronation and crown the winner. Now in its 8th year, Miss Dream Castle Pageant, the brainchild of Gwendolyn Nicks-James, owner of Dream Castle Villa in Montego Bay, was created to help empower young women and raise funds for educational needs in Jamaica.

Stephenson, a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a dual degree in Political Science and Justice Studies had an active year, visiting beneficiaries of the Dream Castle Foundation Scholarships during her prize trip to Jamaica and building her non-profit, Don’t Oppress People, Educate! (DOPE) Inc.

Tickets for this year’s grand coronation are now available for purchase at Eventbrite and with this purchase, patrons will be entered to win one of three 4-day/3-night vacation packages to Dream Castle Villa in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

This year’s pageant, to be hosted by Lenny Green of 107.5 WBLS, will see a performance from special guests, Meesha, Kendall Williams and The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston. Part proceeds from this year’s event will go towards Austism Speaks.
