Rev Run, also known as Joseph Simmons, a founder of the legendary hip hop group Run-D.M.C., is starring in a new television series on the Travel Channel. The series, “Rev Runs Around the World,” will feature Rev, now a practicing minister, his wife Justine, and their children. Comprising 16 half-hour episodes, the program will allow viewers to share the family’s experiences as they travel the world. They plan to visit unique cultures and territories and partake of each region’s authentic foods along the way. The first episode is scheduled for December 2, 2015, when Rev visits Jamaica and samples Blue Mountain coffee.
