Rainforest Sky Explorer – Positioned prominently at the park’s coast road entrance, this state-of-the-art chairlift soars above the treetops on a breathtaking ride through the heart of the tropical seaside forest canopy. The ascent on Sky Explorer skims the top of the canopy, providing sensational views of the sparkling sea and the emerald richness of the tropical treetops to arrive at the centerpiece of the attraction, the peak of Mystic Mountain. The return ride on Sky Explorer carries riders just below the treetops yet high above the forest floor affording an unparalleled scope of the tropical forest, as well as prime viewing of the rich flora and fauna.

Rainforest Bobsled Jamaica – The signature attraction of Mystic Mountain is the Bobsled ride. Custom-designed bobsleds evoking the glory of the Jamaican Olympic bobsled team travels along stainless steel rails on a 1,000 meter gravity driven ride through the forest. Imagine a bobsled roller coaster thru a tropical forest – only in Jamaica!

Rainforest Zip-line Tranopy Tour – A series of tree-to-tree platforms sends riders gliding thru the coastal forest on this customized zip line canopy tour. Nothing rivals the zip line for full-forest interactivity. The guided tour covers the virgin areas of the mountain, flying through the canopy via a zip line along a series of interconnected tree and land-based platforms. The last platform is at the mid-station of Rainforest Sky Explorer, which returns zip line riders to the base area and the park entrance via the Sky Explorer chairlift.

Additional features of the Mystic Mountain experience include the following:

AN ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE PROJECT
Mystic Mountain is situated on over 100 acres of land containing a diverse ecosystem including natural springs, tropical plants, trees and a variety of birds. Mystic Mountain exemplifies the natural, unspoiled beauty of Jamaica; the tours and rides have been carefully designed for minimal impact and the smallest possible physical footprint. During construction, the chairlift foundations were installed by helicopter which significantly reduced disturbance to the environment and eliminated any need for a roadway to transport equipment.  The latest design in chairlift towers – the “F” tower – was also specifically selected to dramatically reduce impact to the forest environment. More than 1000 meters of bobsled track were hand carried through the forest, while the track was laid hugging natural limestone cliffs through the sloping hilly interior. The area can now be considered protected from de-forestation and urban sprawl.
