Sandals Resorts has opened its new over-other-water luxury bungalow accommodations located in Montego Bay. The 12 bungalows saw their first guests on March 4, 2017. The bungalows feature vision floor panels, over-water hammocks, private outdoor soaking tubs, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and custom king-sized beds. There is a 24/7 butler service available, along with room service, in-room dining, a smart TV and bathrooms with his and hers sinks and walk-in rain shower. There is direct access to the resort via the luxury boat “Royal Duffy.” The new Sandals offering is built along a heart-shaped, wooden boardwalk, with the bungalows linked to land on the Sandals Royal Caribbean private island, Sandals Cay. The 12 over-the-water bungalows were launched following the success of the resort’s over-the-water villas in December of 2016.
