Here’s my take on Caribbean ginger beer. Using my dad’s traditional way of making ginger beer as done in Trinidad and Tobago, but with my own twists. Unlike traditional ginger beer recipes from the Caribbean, this one will be ready to serve and enjoy in less than 1 hour. However you can allow it to steep longer for a stronger ginger beer.
I must also mention that this ginger beer can be considered spiked, with the addition of white rum.
