Christopher Taylor proved his speed in the Digicel Grand Prix Class 2 boys 100m at the Camperdown Classic today.

Taylor, the World Youth 400m champion, stumbled slightly out of the blocks but recovered quickly before leaving his rivals from very early. He raced across the line to stop the National Stadium clock in 10.44 secs, beating 10.52 done in the previous heat by his teammate Tyreke Wilson.

Michael Stephens, also of Calabar 10.56 and his teammate Dejour Russell 10.61 could make it a big headache for coach Michael Clarke to choose his top two for Champs.
