Team Jackson launched its bid for various positions including that of president in the upcoming JAAA elections which is scheduled for this Thursday November 29 at the National Arena. The launch took place on Tuesday November 26 at the Knustford Court Hotel in Kingston.
Team Jackson’s 5-point Action Plan instead of a manifesto. The five objectives under the plan are 1. to develop a comprehensive athlete’ support programme; 2. structure national junior championships programme to foster post-secondary school development; 3. strengthen existing organizational structure; 4. develop a wide ranging porgramme to certify coaches and officials and 5. develop an effective, innovative and comprehensive marketing and rebranding campaign for increased sponsorship.
