Learn how to make Guava Jam in this episode of #TastyTuesdays with Chris De La Rosa of CaribbeanPot.com Based on the traditional Caribbean way of making Guava Jam, we’ll use ripe Guavas for what is a unique Jam recipe. While not 100% traditional, it’s still easy to follow, simple to make and quite tasty on your morning toast.
For this Guava Jam recipe you’ll need…
30 small ripe guavas
3+1 cups water
2 slices ginger
1 pk pectin (57g)
2 cups sugar (See Note Below)
pinch salt
Note: You’ll need between 3-4 cups of sugar for this recipe if you’re not watching your sugar intake as I am and I also like adding the juice of 1 lime to give it a little more depth.
