I was challenged to take a classic Korean recipe and put a delicious Caribbean twist on it, so I give you Korean fried chicken or yangnyeom tongdak (μλ μΉν¨) Caribbean style. I urge you to give this recipe a try weather you’re Korean, from the Caribbean or just looking for a delicious way to have fried chicken.
You’ll Need…
Wash chicken with lemon juice and rinse with water.
3 lbs Chicken
ΒΌ teaspoon Salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper,
1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon Caribbean green seasoning
Batter Ingredients
1/3 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup flour,
3/4 teaspoon Caribbean curry powder,
Pinch of Salt
fresh ground black pepper
Sauce Ingredients…
1/3 Cup Ketchup
1 teaspoon caribbean peppersauce
3 tablespoon Corn Syrup
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 tablespoon Soy Sauce,
3 cloves minced garlic
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
