Bahamas’ Shaunae Miller won silver while Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson won bronze in the women’s 400 metres at the World Championships here on Thursday #Beijing2015
The race was won by Allyson Felix of the United States of America, who took the event with a blistering first 200 metres. She slowed on the curve before turning it up again in the homestretch.
Felix clocked a world leading 49.26 seconds with Miller finishing fast to pass Jackson for the silver medal. Miller was timed in 49.67 and Jackson 49.99, a personal best.
