Has the church in Jamaica finally come to the end of it’s relevance? Is it now nothing more than a clanging symbol, only able to appeal to drum up support via fear mongering and propaganda? Why are so many young people, especially men, simply turning away from the church and are Jamaicans genuinely Christian, or simply appropriating the label for social purposes?
These and other topics will be put front and centre this Thursday, October 29th at 8:00pm EDT (7:00pm Jamaica time) as the Skeptically Speaking team sit down with conservative-leaning, charismatic Christian Kennedy Reid. Is there any chance that there will be a resurgence in the influence of the church, or are we simply spectators while this relic of the past fades into oblivion?
